NSW: Man accidentally kills himself on pig shooting trip

A man in his 40s has died after accidentally shooting himself during a pig-shooting
trip in the north-west of New South Wales.

Police say the accident happened at Cryon, a small settlement about 60km east of Walgett,
at about 10 this morning.

They say the man's rifle accidentally discharged in a car, shooting him in the groin,
and ambulance officers were unable to save him.
