SA: Public transport to be cheaper on weekends
ADELAIDE, Feb 1 AAP - The South Australian government wants to reduce fares on Adelaide'sbuses, trains and trams on weekends and public holidays.
Transport Minister Di Laidlaw today proposed capping all weekend and public holidayfares at off-peak rates.
The move would cut trip costs by between 11 cents and $1.20.
Ms Laidlaw said the changes were part of the government's soon to be released transportpolicy for the February 9 state election.
